Rusl’s reputation as an innovative style writer on a world-class level had also reached me. The Loveletters-Crew were operating on the next level with their productions and were featured in almost every graffiti publication.
Rusl was right in the middle of it and continuously pushed his technique further, with particular care and a strong focus on details.
We met frequently at his Hall of Fame in Neckarsulm to paint together and exchange ideas. That time Rusl already was well connected and knew the very big names – for example DARE, SUMA, TOAST, and my personal idol WATSON were part of his circle of friends.
At that time, I was studying in Constance, and due to the lack of a local scene, I often visited Rusl in his hometown, or we arranged to meet in Stuttgart and the surrounding area.
When he finally moved to Constance in 2008, my time as a student there had already come to an end. I still regret that, because we would certainly have made a good team.
Down with a Too Strong n Long man in the game!

»Rusl is one of my favorite graffiti artists and a true inspiration. His use of colors, attention to detail, and the dynamism in his letters are incredible. Especially his details are mind-blowing. We met in Adana, Türkiye, back in 2007, and since then, I’ve always been excited to see new pieces from him.«

»In 2003, I first met RUSL in Almere. The first thing that caught my eye was his unique style and the detailed fill-ins! When he visited me, we were already brainstorming ideas for a crew name, which showed how aligned we were from the start. After getting to know him better, I quickly asked him to join the Loveletters crew. I not only appreciated RUSL as a person but also his distinctive style, which fit perfectly with my works. He's someone you can easily collaborate with on backgrounds and excels at working in a team.
Before long, our concept walls were featured in graffiti magazines, and as a crew, we quickly earned respect due to our diversity. Each of us brought something unique to the table. While sketching, planning concepts, joking, singing, and eating together, we shared some truly great moments.
RUSL is a special person – someone you can call a friend for life. He's hardworking, incredibly talented, and a true all-round artist.«

»When we invited RUSL to the mural festival organized in my hometown Košice, Slovakia, back in 2009, I was deeply inspired by his attention to detail, hard work, and painting techniques. I was also impressed by his personality, as he is one of the nicest stylewriters I’ve met, and I’m glad we’ve been friends ever since.«
